A framed pet portrait of 2 cats

” Wow, I think they are beautiful!
Thank you so much for making this beautiful painting of my babies.  I’m so happy .”

The reference photo for a memorial pet portrait of a cat

Marilyn Mouser

The original photos used to create the portrait.

Flattering , but not ideal. They aren’t as sharp as I’d like , and the flashed out eyes on Marilyn Mouser are a problem.

We managed to find another photo with slightly better eyes but it took a lot of time and imagination to come up with the portrait.

Try and avoid flashing out the eyes of your pet when you take a photo.. ( those weird green shiny eyes..)

The pet portrait concept with both cats placed together.

Marilyn Mouser’s portrait was a memorial one so we only had limited photos to work from.

We wanted to place her with their current cat Petunia.

It was good to be able to get some  extra photos of Petunia to help me.

I spent time trying different combinations in a photo editing program and this was the combination we decided on.
