Pastel paintings have the whole paper covered and I ‘paint’ a coloured background selected to best enhance your pet’s colour.

There is not much of the background paper colour showing through. You can see the lines and marks of the Pastels as they are drawn . They are great for fur and  blurry backgrounds. Pastels are custom framed with 2 mats under glass.

The gold line range features a simple shaded coloured background in a colour chosen to best enhance your pet.

Additional features included with the Gold line are –

1. Your pet can be placed in a simple setting i.e- on a rug or in grass
2. We can use multiple reference photos – If your favourite photo is a little unsharp we can use it for the pose and use suitable extra photos to help me with the details of their face etc.
3. With suitable photos pets from different photos can be placed to look as if they are together naturally in your portrait. We can even place passed pets with current ones.
