I was cycling around the Stroud area in the Hunter Valley when I came across this farmer on his quad with his dog.
I knew I had to paint them and got permission to take photos. The painting was created in the studio using the best photos of each of them.
I wanted to capture the connection between the man and his dog.I found out later that the dog was a rescue dog and I had really captured his nature.
The painting is framed with a cream inner wooden slip with gold line and a distressed wood frame.The frame is square. Sorry it’s a bad photo.
