An oil pet portrait of a black dog painted from a photo

‘Omg he looks amazing, it’s incredible the way you’ve captured him.

I love it, and I’m so drawn to his eyes, I don’t know how you do it.

I can just see his bright, happy personality, it makes me so happy to see him.’

The reference photo for Nash's portrait

Nash was run over when he was only 6 months old. Caitlin was very upset. She  said he was the most intelligent dog she’d ever had with a great personality.

She wanted a striking portrait to remember him by. We created a large colourful portrait that really brings out his personality.

“He looks even better in the flesh! I don’t know how you do it. You can’t see all the subtle colours in the background in the photos “

Cailtin when she picked Nash up.

Sue- It’s really hard to do justice to the portraits in a photo. I put my photos in an editing program and adjust them to get them as accurate as I can to the portrait but you can still lose many of the  subtle colours in the portrait . The actual portrait is much !
