Griff & Harley

( 50 x 60 cms )

Oil on deep edged canvas

"Thank you very much for the beautiful painting of " our kids ". It brought tears to my eyes when I saw the finished painting and Barry was lost for words and got emotional when he was given the painting. It's now hanging up in the family room where it can be seen all the time. Griff and Harley "the kids " will always be with us now. "

" I hope all went well with your Demonstration at the weekend and we would have gone if we'd known earlier . Our painting has pride of place in the family room and brings us joy each time we look at it. We don't think Harley will be with us too much longer , so the painting is especially loved ."

"I first started talking to Sue about painting my two poodles ( Angie & Tasha ) almost a year before I asked her to paint them. I had never had any paintings done of anything so this was a very new experience. They were going to be a suprise 50th birthday gift for my husband so I wasn't sure if he would appreciate them.

He was very suprised when he received them as he'd never received anything like this before. Sue captured our dogs' personalities in the paintings and they look just like them. They will be  a great reminder of our dogs.

Once I decided to go ahead with the paintings the whole process was so easy.  Sue was very patient with me from my first enquiry. She photographed the dogs and was great with them , especially as one of our dogs doesn't particularly like strangers. She made recommendations that would best suit black dogs ( black is a difficult colour dog to paint) and kept the paintings within budget.

Sue really enjoys what she does and she has a lot of experience to guide a novice like me.

I highly recommend Sue if you want a portrait of your animal."

" I had never commissioned a painting before. It takes time but Sue keeps in contact and she let me know if I had to make any decisions or review the work she had done. i.e -photos and sketches of the dogs ( Angie& Tasha).

I highly recommend Sue if you want a portrait of your animal."

Medallion

( 20 x 30 cm )

" Louise loved her painting. I joked and said I expected downlights installed above the painting as Lou's husband was an electrician in a former life - so he did and they are on a timer so that they are on from when they arrive home until they leave for work the next morn. Even if you get up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet you can view the painting. A huge success just not sure how to top it next year."

"We took down the painting by Pro Hart and put up Medallion in it's place!"
