Sue Linton is an multi - award winning artist who lives in a rural environment at Quorrobolong near the Wattagan Mountains in the Hunter Valley NSW. Sue won the 2006 Lower Hunter Business Awards for Art's & Crafts. She was a Finalist in the Hunter Business Awards in 2007 & 2008. Sue paints all subjects in Pastel , Mixed Media & Oil paints. Her work is in collections interstate and overseas. Sue paints traditional oil landscapes of the inspiring scenery in her local area although if you like Sue's style you can commission Sue to paint a scene that you love. A lot of her artwork is doing commissioned Pet & Animal Portraiture which she has been doing for 12 years With her commissioned paintings Sue can provide a complete service from taking suitable photographs ( local enquiries ) , painting your portrait or scene and finishing with a quality frame. All you need do to commission a painting is tell her your ideas. Unframed portraits can be supplied if required. Sue says of her animal portraits - ' I specialise in paintings that recapture the life & soul of your pet , something that is lost in two dimensional photographs.'
